Question about making a video PLEASE HELP!
I made a video for my guild. I made it using Windows Movie Maker, and it only let me save it as an .MSWMM file. Is there any way I can save it as a .mov or .wmv file? Thanks so much.

.mswmm is your project file, not a movie file.
You need to go to File > Save Movie File. There you can save as .wmv or dv-avi. Use the pull down menu on bottom to change file types. Choose 'save to your computer'... For file type, rather than 'best for my computer', click 'show more options' and 'other'. It's like the difference between an image file and a word document. You don't convert a picture (e.g. .jpg, .gif, .bmp) into a .doc file. You open a document an insert the picture into it. The document can contain images, but isn't an image. Likewise a Movie Maker project (.mswmm) can contain movies, images, music, etc., but isn't any of these. Last edited by Caleb The Pontiff; Jun 23, 2006 at 02:15 PM // 14:15.. |

Dont "save project" but "save movie file" ( file->"save movie file" or just press ctr l+p ).
EDIT: Caleb The Pontiff was earlier :P |
